Atmosphere gas-fired furnaces combining a pre-heat section, hardening chamber, cooling vestibule and quench tank in one complete assembly. Workload is processed under protective atmosphere at all times as the parts transfer from the high heat chamber into the vestibule and are lowered via an elevator into the quench tank. Chamber sizes from 9”x12”x18” to 18”x18”x24” for operation to 2100°F with inert or flammable atmosphere. Flammable atmosphere requires additional safety equipment. Gas-fired models featuring a cost-efficient premix under-firing system, with simple operation and all fail-safe requirements included. Gas-fired models are more expensive than electric furnaces on initially purchase, but less costly to maintain over the life of the furnace. Completely test fired, wired and piped ready for connection to main power and regulated gas pressure of 6-8” water column.
